<p>After a fun and demanding career in international agribusiness, I needed to find something that helped me appreciate the small and simple things of life. I had dabbled in taking photos for numerous years and finally decided I could do more. It would be something that I liked and help me focus on the present. I like the close-up part of landscape photography, with an emphasis on flowers, and the odds and ends of whatever I can find. Chasing a few sunrises helps me get with the day and listening to the birds awaken with their songs brings a lot of peace. </p>

Artist Statement

I am a self taught photographer and editor (artist) and I am always looking for inspiration and compositions as I am driving down the road or going for walks. I like things that are common and about everyday life. I suppose flowers draw me in after working in the flower seed industry for a few years. Like I posted on Instagram - "Just and old clod kicker trying to develop some art skills".
