Hi! Originally from Ohio, I moved to the Tri Cities about 25 years ago. I've been interested in photography since I was a child, and the interest and love grew through the years. I enjoyed time in nature with my dad and always found peace and beauty there. Now that I am retired, photography keeps me getting out and about to explore and "see what I see". I hope you like my work, and find something that would bring some outside, inside, to your home or office. Thanks!
“I love being out in the outdoors. Sometimes a whole big scene is breathtaking, and yet other times, a very small section of it needs attention. Mother Nature can be very healing, patient and strong. I love seeing where God applied His paintbrush and design just for us to discover.”
The Process
I start with a basic photograph and then I edit my work in photoshop. Sometimes I use a program that helps to make the images more painterly, depending on the image and the "mood" of the time it was shot.
